Went out during yesterday's protest in New York to meet the people in this community. Hundreds and thousands showed up. Many shared personal stories of loss and hurt. Many more shared a vision for a better future. Even in the face of such tragedy and great loss, my experience yesterday talking to these people proved that there is hope. There is healing. There is union and there is a better future for all of us. These are the faces and names of a few that spoke volumes yesterday.
